Mike Bottle ACII
Managing Director

Mike is a founding director of Axiom and has over 18 years experience in Underwriting.

Mike began his career working for Kiln, a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate before joining its Service Company, Link to develop the Syndicate’s non motor propositions. In more recent years, he has concentrated on running and developing Link Underwriting Agency, before creating Axiom.

Much of Mike’s time is spent managing its broker relationships along with developing new opportunities for the company

Derek Jordan A.C.I.I.
Underwriting Director

Derek is a founding Director of Axiom Underwriting, he is an insurance professional, with 25 years experience in Underwriting and relationship management.

Derek began his career in 1980 with Sun Alliance, for the last twelve years he has been responsible for the underwriting and development of the Link Insurance household account.

Derek will be spending a large part of his time working closely with our underwriting teams to ensure that our highly valued trading relationships are fully supported.

Nick Godden
Outsourced Services Manager

Nick has 25 years of experience in dealing with a wide range of claims activities including Accident and Health business.

Nick’s previous experience includes 4 years as a Claims Director for a leading Lloyds Syndicate.

Nick responsibilities include selection and liaison with outsourced service providers to ensure effective and compliant process.
